mickey mustang
For those of you who have upgraded to 20" wheels and a CS6 hood, have you received your original wheels/tires and hood back from SAI as yet? If so, what is the process to have them returned? If not, is SAI to contact us regarding shipment back to us? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks guys. Son of GT
Doug has a list of people he is calling to come collect their take off parts. I picked my parts up back in November.
SMGT
I had SAI install the CS6 hood on my car and I did not know about this Doug person. I asked John several times about my hood and he said he would get back to me but never did. I guess I will call Doug. It's kind of like having our house built. Once we were in it the builder forgot who we were as all they care about is the next customer and his checkbook.

If something fell through the cracks it's because he always had a million things at once pulling at him.

07SGT1638
+1000 Ditto on John. Called last fall, gave him my CC number for shipping and my stock hood was on the way the next day. It now graces my garage wall. Sometimes even the good guys lose things. Give SAI a call. BTW it was about $250(?) for shipping LV to PDX. Strawman
I received my wheels and brakes last week after a conversation with Doug two weeks prior. I had expected the hood also, hopefully that will follow soon.
RogerS
Spoke with Doug last Friday on having my and Adam's parts shipped. Received a call at 8AM this morning telling me that the truck will be at my door tommrow at 5PM. That is a pretty quick turn around from time of call placement to arrival from Vegas to RI. Doug did tell me that they are moving the storage of parts to another building and he needs to get these parts shipped quickly. Give him a call. It should be a quick turn around for you also. On another note, John was always there for me no matter what the issue.

I had my take off hood shipped back and I worked through John and Dave Fleming. Shipping was $160 from LV to Iowa. i got my old hood back about 2 months after I had my car. Romeo46LV8
I contacted Doug first on 1/11 via email (thanks Bud!). We talked on 1/14, shipment went out 1/16 and arrived on 1/23 - pretty quick turn around if you ask me! Now the thing is that I wanted all the take off pieces from my SGT (wheels, hood, strut tower brace, CAI, etc.). All those parts that converted my car from a GT to a SGT cuz you never know, they could all come in handy one day (not to mention you've already paid for them so why not?). What I received, every nut/bolt, the stock intake that came off for the Whipple, the original brake rotors/pads/calipers - THAT I was not expecting - but happily took delivery of. I have to say thanks to Doug and the entire Shelby team for being as thorough as they were and allowing me to have "all" of the original parts from my SGT. RogerS
Just a quick note here. Check your delivery for the correct parts and that they are all there. Contact Doug if there is anything missing.
