I posted some of this on the "old" forum, but I've added a few more goodies from the Shelby catalogue. Some before and after pics:

Hubcaps:

A link to a place that sells "power outlet plugs" (excellent quality - I've got the snake):

I've also added new signature floor mats (saving the originals), stainless steel hood prop-rod, interior light trim, and a few other bits. In most cases, my tastes run "less is more", so I'm trying not to go overboard!

Still waiting for the new SGT gas cap!

Did you buy the whole set of caps for the engine or just those two? I have read about multiple issues with the way they fit and although I like them I am hesitant because of the fit issues. It should not be that hard to get them to fit correctly. What is you opinion of the quality and the way they fit?

Thanks

I have installed all the caps, and there is no problem. The P/S cap laynard is a bit tight.

I have had the caps since May and have seen no issues that others have raised concerns about.

OK, here's my accessment of the install of my stuff:

Stainless hood prop rod: Very easy: remove old, replace with new.

Fuse Box cover: Again, very easy: Clean the existing plastic lid and utilize the included 3m tape to affix the aluminum cover. ! Really wished this piece had the Shelby logo or signature engraved in it!

Radiator cap: THIS IS A BILLET COVER, NOT A CAP! That being said, it fit perfectly and was easy to install. Clean the existing cap then utilize some high-temp silicon to stick the new cover onto the old cap.

Oil filler cap: Again, simple: replace the old with the new.

Windshield washer fluid cap: A bit difficult to afix the new keeper wire, but otherwise not bad.

Brake fluid cap: Easy: Replace the old cap with the new, however, DON'T FOREGET TO USE THE OLD DIAPHRAGM IN THE NEW CAP!

Dip stick handle: I thought this would be the easiest piece, but I was wrong! This is also a direct replacement of the old yellow one. There's a rolled pin that holds the old handle onto the dipstick, use a small punch to knock the pin out, then replace the old with the new handle and reinsert the pin. Pretty straightforward, until I tried to put the dipstick back in: IT IS A VERY, VERY, TIGHT FIT! I'm concerned that it will be difficult to check the oil level because of the tight fit. (Are you listening SAI?) I tried oiling the o-ring, but it didn't help much. I replaced the o-ring on the new handle with the one from the old yellow handle. This helped somewhat, but it's still very tight. A thinner o-ring may be the answer because all of the other measurements of the new handle appear to be correct.

Power steering cap: Easy, but as stated in another post above, the lanyard was difficult to squeeze over the holding stud. (I nearly snapped the cable!)

Overhead light switch covers: A spot of silicone on the button covers attaches these with ease. The Shelby logo cover has 3m tape on the back. It doesn't hold all that well, but if it falls off, I'll stick it back on with something stronger.

Floor mats: They look great, especially the trunk mat! Well worth the money!

Sequential turn lights: (From CDC) Spectacular! Easy 45-minute install and did I say they look fantastic!?

Quality on all the the items was excellent!

That's about it....for now...I really like that carbon fiber intake tube...hmmmm, Revans, where'd you get that thang?!!
