A few images from the auction. As posted in the other threads the auction was a complete joke, dis-organized, missing the coupes but here are some pics anyway.

sorry it was so bad. i have been to a few of there auctions before and they were kinda screwed up and could they have picked a worse weekend to do this on. B-J the same weekend. whos idea was this.

what did the GTH converts bring. just want to know so i can watch them at the sale.

I have a list of all the cars that sold and what they sold for (well, as near as I can tell because they sold one car twice and never really noted if things "sold" or "passed") as well as all the things I found wrong with them, but I forgot it at home. I'll post that on Wed. with the list you made up of VINs and Shelby #s. Some of the cars had bondo and accident damage. I restore cars for a living so I'm good at spotting repairs. The lowest mile one sold for 54,500 if I recall and it had 1600 or so miles a ripped top and a couple dents in the rear quarters.

The reserve was 50K and I think one or 2 sold for 51.5 or 52, but nothing under that. Even the 10K mile ones had the 50K reserve.

I think that the Kruse guys forgot about B-J.

At one point during the auction of a Chevelle that was there the auctioneer said, "Buy it at this price and take it to Scottsdale next weekend and double your money". I wonder if he really thought B-J was the following weekend. It wouldn't surprise me, everything was badly organized and messed up.

They did have 3 Hooters girls show up for a little while... that was about the only good thing I can say about the auction.

The dork from Hertz that was there was a real salesman. I was standing around near a conv. that was missing its Shelby dash number. He told one person that they had it and never put it on. He told the next person that it made it more rare because it was missing (he told this a lady) then he told the next person it was in the home office.

The guy knew NOTHING about what these cars were. He did not know what things had been added or anything. The only thing he knew is that he thought they were all worth 75K and he kept having the auctioneer say that the cars cost would cost 75K to build...

A couple of the cars had the engine safety wire missing as well.

The one with the worst accident damage, lot # 1122 sold. I feel sorry for that guy. The RH rear quart was previously all caved in and the magnet wouldn't even stick to it. LOTS of bondo in that buggy.

Wow, those are selling for more than I paid for my GT500 even with the ADM.

Yup, thats why I just gave up on the GT-H conv. and am buying a GT500 now.

Anyway, I posted the selling prices and condition data from the auction over on the for sale thread about the auction in case anyone is interested.
