Well your car is a good reason to go to TM but thats about it, I love turbo doges and I think the forums sucks lol. Sure the Mustang guys enjoy TM.

Your Daytona gives all the G bodys a good name, yours and the one racing the one lap of America. Early evil red twins lol. So have you run the car with the new Neon engine? Should be in the tens now with a 16v. Those SRT wheels will get old really fast, they really suck to drive on. I always thought they looked good at least on my 89 CSX but the car slid everywhere. I replaced them with Konig feather weight wheels, 17 x 7 with 40 offest. Being a red CSX I bought the gold ones. The 225 40 17 tire is perfect for the old TDs too, they stick like glue and they are short enough not to nuke your gear ratio like stock SRT tires.

Thanks...

I have only driven it up and down the driveway with the 2.4L so all performaqnce specs are with the 2.2L 8v motor. All I want out of the 16v is to ruin a 11.499 to make the roll cage worth it, LOL!

The SRT-4 wheels were just to see how it looked and I'll probably use them to do the initial tune on teh car, but they need a little more offset to look correct. That and at least some 245 wide rubber, not sure about the 16v, but with the 8v on 225's it would melt the tires from a 80mph roll... ;)

congrats on the win, very well earned...... and my $$$ is on you hitting that sub 11.5.

the very 1st brand new car i ever bought was a 1989 Daytona with the CS Competition Package (code AGS) in red with the grey cloth interior that i ordered in Feb of 1989 and took delivery in May of 1989, i put 25,000 miles on that car in the first 8 months i had it, back when there were 5.0L Mustangs literally at every red-light.......so i have always been a big red-daytona fan.

How long before you hit the strip again? The indains bought our local track for more room for the casino :censored:

Bummer on your local track :(

I hope to have the last couple odds and ends tied up and get the FAST tuned to try to get to the track in April.
