(ss#0038) What can any of you guys tell me about your experience with the whole process at the factory? Do they send pics of the progress or e-mail you updates? Has any one got their car back. twobjshelbys
Looking for shipper info. Did Shelby arrange the return or did you find Inner City yourself? I'll need one shipped from Vegas to Colorado so looking for recommendations.

intguys
congrats. sdog, I wouldn't know how it is I'm #0025 of the 07 cars and I still haven't been called yet. This makes no sence to me, what is the point of the numbering system when they don't call by number in order?
CoopersShelby
My vert was sent about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Still not assigned a lift as of 1/21/08. They said there are a few cars ahead of mine. The good news is "Im in line in Vegas". Cant wait, but really cold here in the Midwest, so Im not missing anything. They only called the first 10 convertibles, because they didn't have the driveshafts for the 725HP SS's.

jsdogs1
Congrats. Hope you will like it. What will it cost you to ship the car to LV and back? 1995.00 each way. The truck was enclosed then they covered the car with a cloth cover and then a plastic cover. The car had good company a porsche a jag and an old caddy. They strapped the car down by the tires so no metal touches the car.

I would be very carefull about putting a cloth cover over a car being transported for a long distance. The small vibrations of the transporter wheels rolling over the road can cause the cloth to rub back and forth hundreds of times over the paint causing many hairline scratches. Any time I have transported a car I either covered it with very very thin mil plastic or left it uncovered. Just my.
