ingram4868
I plan to remove the the OEM tires and use the GoodYear F1 all season tires. To store the originals does it matter if they are laid flat or standing up? Would storing them in a storage shed that would freeze in winter and get over 100 on some summer days hurt? Well, since they are off the car, I was always told the best way to store is on rims, partially inflated at best. Anything else will warp the tire. However I did hear one guy who bought cheap inner tubes, inflated them inside the tires, to keep them round and the rim edge from drooping. I am no expert, but that is all I recall on storing tires, more so outside! I am sure others will provide opinions.
whazen1
As long as you don't put any weight on them, you can store them any way you want. Since there will be a bunch of weight on them if you stack them, I would stand them up like most every tire store does.
