sbornitz
Since the car has a 6 disk: Metallica AC/DC Linkin Park Korn Aerosmith Def Leppard Gotta mix the new and the old stuff. All is good when you hammer the throttle . The drive home from the dealer is only 15-20 minutes but after we drop off the chase vehicle I am sure we will make it through all of the disks. And we should be able to squeeze in some time for the exhaust/supercharger music also.

KingCobra
I will be cranking V8's Greatest Hits, and S/C Whine!!! Tunes??? And drown out the beautiful roar of that engine??? I'll make sure the stereo works, but I can't see me playing it for quite a while. KingCobra.
Pony Ride
The last stick I owned was my 69 vett I sold 10 years ago so I am going to have to keep the tunes off till I get the hang of it. Now as I remember, you rev the engine to 6 grand then side step the clutch petal. This will prevent the car from stalling then its high way to hell
jcthorne
What is funny to me is that I ignored this thread for quite a while cause I figured my music taste was so far off the beaten path these days that I would not even recognize other folks artists. Nothing could have been farther from the truth. I just wish we had a radio station her that played the playlist from this thread. Wow. Really nice to know I am not the only one that cannot wait to hear AC/DC, Def Leppard and the Doors in my Shelby to the tune of an SC whine backdrop....... The more I read here the more I realize Ford built this car for folks kinda like...well...me. Thanks for the thread.

BTW, nice choice of colors jcthorne. There aren't very many of us Vista Blue/Tungsten folks out there. :beerchug:
BadTony
maybe not all that unusual - my guess a majority of people getting one of these cars probably falls into the over 30 demographic (dare I say over 40?) and male. So it's the music that we grew up with that brings back fond memories (and will probably make some new ones as well). also, I'll need to update my playlist a little "Brain Salad Surgery" anyone?
