ih2lose
Allow me to introduce myself, New to the forum,I am a car guy. Presently own collector corvettes. Been interested in getting a GT 500 since it came out but Its just not in me to pay over MSRP. Just recently made an offer on a 08 Vert and thought I was getting a car but the deal went sour in the last minutes. I will know on Monday if the deal can be salvaged. Our choices on a car were a Z06 (less then msrp) C6 corvette convertable (less then MSRP) XLRV (less then msrp) GT500 having a hard time finding at MSRP The GT 500 became the car of choice only because it can hold 4 passengers. I am a father of 2 and just need a family car we can fit everyone in. If I am going to be getting a car it will be now thru the end of Febuary (I feel if I am going to get a deal this would be the time to get it )so wish me luck. SLB8SNK
Good luck, and if you do your homework, I am certain you will find your MSRP deal on a GT500. Welcome to the forum.
mciarochi
Welcome. I'm one of the many who paid a modest ADM, and happy to have done it. The car is a blast, and really is one-of-a-kind. I was originally holding out for MSRP. If you find a dealer you like who has a car you like in the next couple of months, you may consider stretching the sticker price a teeny bit. I'm really glad I did. I did make a return visit to one particularly greedy local dealer, just to let him know I bought the car from somebody else.

Hi, Despite what my current location is (Guildford, UK) I have a bit of experience with a couple of dealers in Dutchess and Ulster counties in NY as I grew up in that area and will be moving back stateside in a few months. In the end I ordered mine from Johnson Ford in Kingston in the end and I paid a $4k ADM to ensure I was able to order it exactly as I wanted it. If you can be a bit flexible I think you can find an MSRP deal if you put some time in on this site, ebay and calling around a bit but I think you are likely to find it outside the Ny area so will have to have it shipped to you at an additional cost. What ever you do I would not go anywhere near Miracle Ford or any of its associated dealerships (Monroe Ford). They tried to screw the pants of me and were very dishonest my first time around trying to order a car. Happy to help further if I can just drop me a PM. 07alloyGT
Welcome to the forum. Despite the fact you're a Corvette owner, pictures are still required. There are a couple Vette guys here too, 90GT, Hoofbeater, Ponykiller & Maximizer (he just got rid of his). The dealership where I got my Mustang GT sells them at MSRP, but there's a wait obviously. I know it's a bit of a drive, but JoeG went to NC from Minnesota to get his. Joe G
Welcome to the site. there is alot of info here on cars and there have been a few posted for MSRP in the sales section. Good luck. Agree. If you narrow your search by the many variables (only coupe/vert, only one/two color combos or options, no more than x miles from you etc) you'll find it much tougher. As 07AlloyGT said, I found my Black Vert in NC thanks to a friend on this forum at MSRP. It had a few options I wouldn't have chosen to get in a perfect world, but I was happy to get a great deal on a great car. Plus, the weekend trip home from NC to MN allowed me to meet a bunch of great folks in many states who I probably wouldn't have met otherwise - and the fun of driving the car!! ilmor
Reading other posts on this forum tonight which state that GT500's are going for 45K (msrp) now, so based on that you shouldn't have any problem finding one at MSRP. I'm sure some of the other's will help you on this. Welcome to the forum!
Snake-Bit
Welcome to the site. The GT 500 makes a great family car Just do not let the kids eat or drink in the back seat. Shop around, MSRP deals are starting to show up more frequently. Good luck
