1FAFP90
Funds from the auction of the KR is going to Juvenile Diabetes Research. Why not Carroll's Foundation? http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application..._LotNumber=1300
egm253
Thanks for the list. Too bad they don't allow you to search on make and model, it would make things easier.

You just have to mess around with it a bit. You can also click on the column headings. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application...h/w_search.aspx
HSURB
Is anyone else surprised at the number of Shelby's on the lists this year. I looked completely through both documents and there seems to be a large number this year - compared to other brands of vehicles. HSURB

HSURB I think a lot of owners feel the market has peaked, and those who want to cash out are doing so. Those that love the car are going to hold on to them regardless of the market. I hear the alcohol flows rather freely for the big hitters at B-J, which helps loosen the purse strings... I'm still perplexed by the choice of charity for the KR auction proceeds. 1FAFP90
do you think it is political? I don't have a clue, which is why I'm asking. I wonder if Ford feels compelled to "spread the wealth" around various charities, and perhaps the perception was Ford was giving too much to Shelby's Children Foundation. The car they're auctioning is a Shelby, so I felt it would be appropriate for the proceeds go to Shelby's Foundation. Now, if Ford were auctioning off the first Boss Mustang, then I wouldn't question which Charity they selected.
PURVENOM
I will bet you one thing... that Mr. Ron Pratte buys it. I hope he does as well. I like that he is not a loud mouth, or tries to make him self stand out in the large crowd. As they call him "Poker Face Pratte". I like that all these new Shelby's are going into one collection to such a mild mannered man. JMO

They make sure they are on stage in the spotlight acting like big dogs.
