Removing and changing factory stripes

Well brought the car home yesterday from the dealer. Nothing like twelve hours of straight driving. Did not get a good chance to look over the paint real close while there. Pretty much went in and signed and where back on the road again. (trying to beat a storm that was coming). After getting it home and washing it, looks like their people had washed it with a rag full of dirt. All the stripes are scratched along with spots in the paint. I spent most of Sunday with Maguires scratch remover on the paint ( works really well). But will have to have the stripes replaced. I'm gonna get the stripes from ford, but change them my self. I have found it you want anything done right do it your self.

If the stripes have to be replaced, I would seriously look into having them professionally painted. The could use the existing stripes that are in place to template the car so they get them exactly right.

Then, re-clearcoat the entire car and fix all your issues in one shot.
