I was driving about 85 in a 65 when I came upon a trooper with his gun right on me. I slowed right down and looked over waiting for him to wave me in or begin pursuit. In stead as I get next to him he took his gaze from the gun, nodded at me, and went back to clocking other cars. I've been running the Valentine for years with great success. State Patrol in my state are almost exclusively Lidar now so the laser blinder is the only thing thats totally effective. mciarochi Posted November 24, 2007 Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 Like the man said, I think you get a little extra slack, if anything. The Taurus SHO was definitely a ticket magnet. I added Laser Veil, a radar detector (Bel, but Valentine is also great), and Blinder M20. The stuff has definitely paid for itself with the SHO, so I got it for the GT500 as well. There is extra Veil, and the detector just moves from car-to-car. I bought an extra grill to hack up from the dealer, plus a wireless hookup so I didn't have to do any drilling for the Blinder. 07SHELBY GT Posted November 24, 2007 Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 Well we came close as we delivered the car to it's current destination.Was on the main road to the dealer that I sold the car to,In traffic,Waited for a break so there were no cars on either side or immediately ahead,10 MPH Traction control off,I wound her up to about 5 grand ,Dumped the clutch and rode out an easy 100 footer sideways,One last smile on my face,Junior asked what if the dealership people see this,Told him If they changed their mind so be it,Wasn't too thrilled about saying goodby any way,Just then in a parking lot he spots a police car,Good thing was he was out of his jurisdiction so nothing happened,Guess it could have,But screw it one last hurrah would have been worth it!
