fastfords
Customer service says my car has been serialized and is waiting for production. I was kind of hoping to see it before Christmas. Anyone want to give odds on this?
SLB8SNK
Customer service says my car has been serialized and is waiting for production. I was kind of hoping to see it before Christmas. Anyone want to give odds on this? Given that is 7 weeks, I think pretty good! However I am not one with any visibility, we have others than can tell you more. My car from order to delivery was only 12 weeks, so this sounds do-able to me! I hope it works out and good luck!

fastfords
That's cool. If it makes it by the holidays it would be great. Certainly not your fault either way. I hope your car makes it and you have a very Merry Christmas. I was thinking maybe there would be a push right before the shut down for years end to get the cars out and delivered. Maybe not though. According to an invoice on a GT500 at a dealer in Phoenix, transit days is 13 So figure 2 weeks from the time it is shipped out.
fastfords
Thanks for the info Shelbydude. The dealer I purchased from is actually in Star Valley/Payson area. About 100 miles northeast of Phoenix. I assume that will have an effect of delivery time. The dealership just changed hands as of November 1st. I have been assured that the sale has nothing to do with my purchase. I do have a signed sales contract and a receipt for my deposit so I am not worried. I checked the dealer in Payson and their invoices show 12 days. So they must be closer to where ever the drop point is when they are unloaded from the rail yard and transported by truck to the dealership.
