FastStuff
Nope. Been there. Tried that. SVT sez no. bj VNMOUS1 and others- An insider at the Shelby plant says it's possible to make arrangements to take a plant tour and watch your car being built, but then the car must be delivered to the dealer for customer pick-up. No plant pick-ups. I'll check to confirm and clarify this info. I think several of us would consider this if it is truly possible. More later. FastStuff
Are you speaking of the Shelby plant in Vegas? Or AAI(a.k.a Flatrock)? I was referring to AAI. After my earlier post, I called SVT for the official word: not open to the public, no plant tours, production observation, or customer pick-up. The AAI plant insider indicated that he could help with arrangements for a couple different specific individuals to watch their car. So I think it amounted to personally pulling some strings for a few fellow enthusiasts. Don't count on a plant visit, they're pretty tight-lipped. But... you can sit across the street at the gas station and watch the GT500s come and go at "Shelby Central".
