emailcm
Bought this one earlier in the week. On the back of the packaging it says "This GT500 was an early production vehicle with a date of October 15, 2006." Sold at Palm Beach for $93,500. If October 15, 2006 is early production, then my June 15, 2006 build date definitely qualifies. http://www.greenlighttoys.com/?q=products&...&prodid=

iceman
I bought 2 at Target - 1 for me to keep and one for the boy to play with. They had one more there last I looked if anyone wants it I can check and pick it up if it's still there. It was the fastest like sold at the auction (Black Vert. with Tungst. stripe Not as cheap as a normal hot wheels but I think like 3.98 or something. We don't have a Target here, maybe Wal-Mart sells them? I have a black vert with custom stripes. Only bigger. Maybe I'm missing something on the original post... This is a die-cast car? Sold for $93,500? Even 93,500 cents doesn't make sense (pun intended) to me. What gives?

Making die cast cars of those sold at auction and a little info car with how much it sold for etc. The actual car (real version) sold at Barret Jackson for 93,500 (I think including the fee to them) so sadly my die cast is only probably worth about a fraction of the 4 bucks or what ever I paid. But it's kinda cool to have anyway - especially when it is the same color as mine
