moabman
I found this video in YouTube. It shows a red GT500 following a FR500C around the super speedway track at Texas World Speedway. I think B17drvr attended this event - maybe it's him! FR500C and GT500 at TWS

GT500FLYBOY
WOW. What I'd do to get on a track like that. I have yet to find one that will allow a vert w/o a rollbar.
moabman
Convertibles are great but they don't mix with tracks very well. Too bad the style bar doesn't count as a roll bar. Maybe I need a second Mustang - A plain Jane GT and rip everything out. Add wheels, tires, blower, brakes, suspension, and internal roll cage. I could do all that for less than $40 thousand and the car would weigh about 3200 and make 450-500 at the wheels with the stock manual transmission. Not quite as good as the FR500C but at half the price, it would still be pretty potent.
