Still looking for MORE track time?? SVTOA Central Region is putting on an SVTOA On Track Performance Driving Clinic, September 15 & 16 at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, just west of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This event is open to all makes and models of vehicles, and it doesn't matter if you're a complete novice or a seasoned track dog, we'll have separate run groups based upon your level of experience and plenty of in-car instructors for the novices and anyone who may want one.

Cost is $240 for two days and includes dinner Saturday evening.

And the best part: we're planning on running the track counter-clockwise on Saturday and clock-wise on Sunday! Two days to learn and enjoy two different tracks!

You can go to www.svtoaok.com to get information or go to www.svtoa.motorsportreg.com to register on line. Here is a link to the event flyer: http://www.svtoaok.com/docs/2007_Hallett_Flyer_fixed.pdf

Hope to see you at Hallett! :happy feet:

Is $240 the "member" cost or "non-member" cost?

I saw this listed on Hallett's calendar but wasn't sure how welcome the new Shelby's were with the OK Chapter of this group?????? (Yes I'm referring to the on-line forums, and I've seen you stick up for us in a few of your posts....thank you)

I would have to choose between this weekend and the COMMA/HST on the 27th. Can't do both. How many cars are expected?

btw, I've never run the course clock-wise......

<edit> a couple of your links aren't working for me. However, I found the sites and read that membership is required to participate.

Still not sure how welcome we will be in this group  It's not a whole lot of fun to pay to join a group that doesn't want you there. I'm sure this is not the case for the admin but the rank and file are the ones with whom we interact.

One last question, Is there an option for one day participation? If that was listed anywhere, I missed it.

The lack of attention paid to this thread is all I need to know.

I'll be attending Hallett's COMMA High Speed Touring days on the 29th & 30th instead.

The SVTOA puts on a great track weekend. I have been to several and they are worth attending. I would be at this one if I didn't have to work.

Jeff Lacina is an excellent instructor and driver.

Here is info from Dell Hughes ( from the SVTOA Oklahoma Chapter):

I just wanted to make sure everyone had heard that SVTOA is putting on an on track event at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, Sept 14-16, 2007.

Cost is $240 for SVTOA members and $250 for non-members for both Saturday and Sunday and includes dinner Saturday night.

If you want more information go to www.svtoaok.com or you can register on line at www.svtoa.motorsportreg.com.

You can also give me a call at 918-697-8082 or drop me an email to dellcobra@yahoo.com

See you on track.
