I went with the vert version of that alloy alloy and tungsten stripe........hmmm what do you guys think of starting an alloy club? New color new club. How about the Alloy / Tungsten cars fast heavy metal club? [quote name='Niswonger' date=

Wouldnt it be cool if we end up with cars made one right after the other? When did you order yours? I changed mine to Alloy on May 8th.

I ordered mine on 3/14, but with the shaker 1000. I deleted the shaker 1000 on 5/29, but the new DORA still shows 3/14 as the order date. Of course, the order date doesn't matter. Only the allotment schedule matters. I think it would be more cool to pass each other on I-70 out of happenstance.
442forever(noolds)
Add me to the alloy satin silver coupe list. I wanted the tungsten stripes but didn't want the red interior so I had to settle for the satin silver. Update; I don't like the satin silver stripe. Too much lite contrast. Going with Tungsten stripes! If I gotta chuck the door panels I will. And change the seats, I will!

Going with Tungsten stripes! If I gotta chuck the door panels I will. And change the seats, I will! I have the same problem. Actually, I'd like Alloy with black stripes. I ended up ordering Alloy with Satin Silver, but the high-contrast bugs me. I'm wondering if it'd be cheaper for you to order with stripe delete and then add the color you want later (either custom or order the stripes from your the counter) instead of replacing interior parts... I'm wondering if it'd be cheaper for you to order with stripe delete and then add the color you want later (either custom or order the stripes from your the counter) instead of replacing interior parts... I have been checking into doing a paint on/ decal after option. The paint on is looking like an expensive deal. Doing the delete option and putting the decal stripes after will be cheaper, but still costly, and who knows what it will look like? I decided to get the ugly red inserts so I could get the tungsten stripes. I figure the door panels would be cheaper to replace. As for the seats, I will wait and see. Maybe I can find someone who wants to swap the black/charcoal for black/red? Or I may replace them? It's not like I will spend much time seeing the seats while driving. In your case, the black stripe is a good idea. I think it would look sharp that way, and you'd be assured not many others would have one.
dsabldvt
I just changed my order from a white with blue stripes to an alloy with over the top stripe delete but silver side stripes. Interior upgrade, no sirius(don't like the antenna or the holes drilled in the trunk), and no 1000 shaker. I kept my solid charcoal interior but I may change. I've been hearing too many horror stories on the stripes. I can always have them painted on. I also decided I wanted a more subdued car that could surprise people and I also think the alloy is a beautiful color and should really look great with a good shine.
