Following the rules

I have been reading threads on this forum long enough to have learned a little. So I know that it is absolutely against the rules to post that you got your car without posting pics. SOOO...hypothetically if someones car came in today and he didn't have access to a card reader for his digital camera he should wait until the next day to post and tell everyone. Even though he would be very excited and bouncing off the walls...and even if he had talked to Evolution performance and it looked like his new car would be headed there for the stage 4 treatment he should just wait until he could post a pic. Even though "in theory" if his car had arrived late in the afternoon the pictures would be of a very dirty car (because of course you wouldn't let the lot boy wash it). It would probably be better to wait until the following day when the car could be properly detailed and then some good pictures could be taken before posting. So just to sum up, I know the rules, I follow the rules. Nobody stepping on any toes here, No Sir. Just a note I will probably be posting tomorrow, right now I'm going to go try to figure out why I can't get this big stupid grin off my face :happy feet:

First of all, thanks to all of you for your premature congratulations. Second I have to apologize for STILL having no pics, which of course means I cannot have a car. So heres the story... I spent all day and I mean all day thinking about detailing my soon to be here car. I mean I thought about claybarring, three (count them) three coats of zaino with gloss enhancer between each coat of coarse, storing the hypothetical tags and stickers off of the car, detailing the inside including leather conditioner on those beautiful red inserts, I mean if the car was really here it would be smoking! So when I was done I started thinking about how tired I would be after all that work and that it would be questionable whether or not I would want to pull the car out of my covered building that I would be doing all of this work in. Then I said those guys on the message board would be counting on those photos and of course I would suck it up and not let them down! However all of this thinking left me a little unaware of my outdoor surroundings. It was raining and apparantly had been for some time. Man I must have really been into this daydreaming thing. So I feel certain that tomorrow gentlemen I WILL have pics which means of course I will have a car. Until then...good night.

Okay I give up. There has to be a better way to post pictures than this but I can't get it to work. So there they are. A couple of them are at the dealership when the car was very dirty and some of them were after the detailing. The car is awesome and I am so glad to have her home. Although she won't be home long... I just arranged for an enclosed carrier to pick her up on Monday and take her to PA. That's right boys, she's headed for the promised land. I have her scheduled for the Stage 4 treatment and I am stoked! I will only have the car 1 week and I have to put it on a truck and send it away. Fred from Evolution was very sympathetic to my concerns though.. I quote"You'll be fine, we won't beat on her too bad" Thanks Fred. So there it is, I will keep you posted on her progress and hopefully know how to post pics properly by the time she gets back. Thanks to all of you for your congratulations and for posting so many positive things about Evolution. I can't imagine sending my new car to a strange place without so many recommendations. djc6323.htm

They did?

Was there a fix?

A TSB?

What should we look for?

Is it still safe to drive?

Should this be in a new thread?

Should I call my dealer first thing in the morning?

Does it hurt my car just sitting?

I don't want it to be alone in the garage in pain.

You must have been working with paint thinner recently. :hysterical:
