stpracer43
Hi all, I've been in Korea now for just about a month, been without my '07 GT500 for almost 2 months... Have come across a few Mustang GTs here and there on the base, some with a few mods. Even saw an old Mustang II driving around this morning! The Military Exchange Car Sales program at the overseas locations was allocated 6 2008 GT500s. Two each went to Europe, the Pacific, and Middle East regions. All were made available in some form of contest or drawing. The best part of the deal however is the price... $100 below MSRP!!! That's an unbelievable deal for some lucky Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines that got one of the 6 cars. The two Pacific region cars were both drawn by folks from here in Korea, one right here on my base. They are set for delivery in Mar & Jun of 08. I'm trying to find the local winner here so I can hook them up with this site and all the great info & resources available. And by next Mar or June, I'll be in real need of a "Shelby fix"!!! Just wanted to share some GT500 news with the group. Take care & Drive a mile for me! Keith Yongsan Army Garrison Republic of Korea

Sherri Leicht
Hi Keith! That is really great to hear that Ford would participate in such a deal for all our service persons. Hopefully you will find the local newbie and get a ride off of him to satisfy your Shelby fix in the spring. Take care, stay safe

Curbhugger
When I was overseas "USMC" I also bought my second Mustang this way. It was for under MSRP, but you had to pickup state side. Maybe the policy has changed, I would be surprised if they would deliver overseas.
