KingCobra
My guy phoned me and told me the Canadian order banks were open and I placed my order the first week of April. But, I don't know what MSRP is yet, so I still don't have a purchase-agreement or contract yet. I also don't have a copy of the DORA either, although I would like one. I always get the feeling that he's sick to death with the attention and phonecalls with questions about this car. Until I get a signed contract I'm trying not to piss him off toooo bad!!! KingCobra. kaylan1521
I have a Bill of Sale and my order documented so that when the banks open up here he can fire it in right away. My Bill of Sale was written up at 55,000.00 with the agreement to adjust once MSRP was announced.

Guest markham51
I have my "vehicle order confirmation" in hand and MSRP (verbal) from an Ontario dealer. $59,250 for a convert fully loaded. I also have a coupe ordered from another dealer and I know it is in the system because we went through the entry process together. He hasnt called me with MSRP on that car yet. I signed tonight at my Dealer in Mississauga for a Coupe. MSRP was $51,999 Can. There was an added SVT Charge of $500? The only Factory option is the Shaker 1000. The Premium Interior Package comes included as a No Cost Option. Sales Manager said that the Vert was another $4700? Sound right Mr. Markham? clutch
I've never heard about the SVT charge, but then again, I'm a bit behind, seeing as how my dealer still won't order this thing for me. Also has discussed a different MSRP. 07 Shelby, did the number you quote include freight and all of that junk, or is it the hard cold MSRP number only? Shaker or no shaker? Are you guys buying or leasing? Through Ford or an alternative? Any rates/costs per month? Insurance quotes? We Canucks should start an insurance/rate thread so we can get the best rates! rbortnick
I've seen alot of threads claiming Canadians have placed orders and know the MSRP. Can anyone confirm this or link me to a thread? All I've seen is speculation. No - I am #5 on the list at Richgport Ford in Richmond B.C. (Vancouver) I was over to see the salesman last week and he told me it will be between right now and the end of May - As I will be on Job1. No confirmed MSRP pricing yet - everything you have heard is BS. I can tell youm though that Cannadian MSRP will be same as US except converted into Canadian $. My dealer is telling me around 50 - 55,000 Canadian. There is a dealer in Edmonton, Alberta (Healy Ford) that told me that they are selling theirs at 35 - 40,000.00 over MSRP. I find this hard to believe, they figure they can get 95 - 100,000.00 Canadian for the car. No way, Its a fast car, but thats it, of course besides the Shelby name. Ford has really scaled this car back from the concept car. I talked to the SVT plant and they are not even painting the strips on - their gonna be vinyl (thats a put down to this car, if you ask me) Interior in the concept was all leather and the press was commenting that thye never seem so much leather in a car - Look what we get now, we will be lucky to have full leather seats and not just leather inserts. Does anyone know if they are even gonna offer "My Color" instruments ? Oh well, I am still gonna get mine, I will go with delete on the strips and paint mine on. Not sure on color. Orange, Blue or Black is where I am swinging.

The Final number, including feight, air tax, gas tax, svt charge and admin fee was $54297 Canadian before GST and PST. The Shaker 1000 was an $1800 option. No thanks! Stayed with the standard Shaker 500. I'm Buying. They tossed a few rates around... 6.99% for 60 months. I'm not worried about Insurance. I'm an old fart, 43, never had a speeding ticket and she'll be off the road from November to May. Sorry, rbortnick, but Ford had a Conference Call with it's Canadian SVT Dealers on Monday in which they were given Pricing and Options. I saw the Canadian Order Guide and Numbers on my Sales Manager's PC and they're on my Purchase Agreement!

Hopefully we'll get some Feedback from Members who've bought from other Dealers. We've actually done well in Canada. I think I remember my Guestimate as being $53,000 Canadian, before any add on's? The dollar has come through for us!! My Buddy, who's #3 at Erinwood, is supposed to be able to place his order in 2-3 weeks. Well I'm off to Bed as I've been up since Tuesday at 7am. Pony Ride
Well I have been left hanging. The sales manger is gone on holidays and the owner will be out of town for awhile. My sales guy said I will have to wait till the owner gets back to find out where I stand. Originaly they were going to ask if my car could be built on June the 8th, my 50th birthday. I am really feeling turning 50 is going to be a real downer if this does not work out. I am very happy for the people that signed with a good dealer. Bruce, the Sales Manager, has been dealing with the List since the pricing was announced. You're best to call him. I don't know if Morgan is even in the picture? Hey Clutch, that's reassuring about the SVT Charge! Without the Internet where would we be?! My final price might be a few dollars on either side because the Gas Guzzler Tax isn't set yet. It was a ballpark estimate, from the Dealer, based on the Dodge Viper. Good Luck!! :happy feet:

johnnyvax
I've ordered mine, coupe, red with the white le mans stripes. All I really have to show for it is a time stanp on a bill of sale showing my 10K deposit. No MSRP that my dealer will admit to yet... I guess we wait for next monday at 2:00 P.M. to see what Ford says... So I don't really feel like I have a guarantee of anything and am left to wait at the dealers mercy for both the MSRP and the implied delivery or at least until they ask me for the rest of the money! I'm hoping what I am reading here re the $52-$54 K for the Canadian version. John
