Alloy Dave
I spent the day washing and a Zaino treatment, then took some pics. These are some of the better pics I have of the car...so I thought I'd post them. Dave

ShelbyDude
Ouch, 7 hrs. How many coats? Wash & dry. Then clay bar. Then wash & dry. Then two coats. I wanted to do more coats but I was pooped! My legs hurt the next day!
GTorSSguy
I'd love to say that your car is beautiful but if I did I would feel like I was bragging. (Identical twin to mine). Great photos tho Dave, car and home both look very nice. Randy
KCMO-GT500
Looks real good Dave. I just made contact with a local zaino dealer at a car show yesterday, so I may have to pursue the contact and try it out. John
chuckstang
AWSOME! But please remove the rear chrome rings around the tail lights! Its like a super hot chick is stripping in front of you and then when she pulls her panties down, an afro of hair pops out!
chuckstang
love the tips you got there and the side scoops! that color looks alot lighter than I thought, must be the sick shine!!
Grabber
To each there own on the tail light trim. I had it on my car and later removed them because they did not match the faux gas cap and the SHELBY letters. The trim was shiney and did not match the gray factory stuff. However on My Mustang GT it looks great because the factory trim on that car is Chrome so it works great there for me. :happy feet:

I agree on your accessment of the tasteful realization of the tail light trim on the Shelby. That alloy and silver striped Shelby does look very nice. That was my original first color combo choice until I found out how dark the alloy color was, but it does look sharp. Dark colors are a pain to keep clean. I wonder if the Zaino negatively effects the clearcoat??
Joker45
Nice pics Dave! Looks sweet. How much time did you spend on it? I'm debating on what I'm going to use on mine when I finally get it.

ingram4868
Zaino has a new product called Z-CS. You just spray it on, spread even with the applicator and leave it to dry. It takes maybe 15 minutes to apply each coat and looks great on my black/tunsten.

Dropping__Chronic
Nice pics, the only thing I don't like on your car and some of the other cars posted is that chrome around the tail lights? Run whatever you are happy with, but I think they look very out of place and awkward. Nice cars gents

Run whatever you are happy with, but I think they look very out of place and awkward. Nice cars gents I like the light trim. It's actually not chrome. It's a brushed metal. It is the light trim from SAI and matches the other brushed metal on the car. Some will like and some won't but only 1 person's opinion matters for this car..........That's Dave's for those of you that think it may be your opinion that matters

Cobra Boy
Dave, Looks great. Gotta tell you though that I can't seem to get my arms around the concept of spending that much time on the car. Super deep shine looks awesome in the pics. Since I'm a slacker, I'll stick with my ICE or my wax-as-u-dry. CB

See? That's your problem!! You're supposed to use your HANDS to apply the Zaino! Crazy Shelby Guy. I like the chrome tail light grids because they're retro. Look at the old Mustangs.
