Shaker 1000 Subwoofer Upgrade

You could find better answers at a car audio specialty store, but I'll try my best.

Aftermarket subwoofer enclosures are NOT predrilled for mounting. That's something you have to do. If you are wanting to put in an aftermarket sub, you might as well put in an aftermarket head unit and go the whole nine yards. You could possibly wire in an aftermarket sub to the stock wiring, but it would be a whole lot easier (and better) sounding to just get everything

Does anyone know of an aftermarket Subwoofer and Cover to spice-up the trunk a bit. The big black box is pretty nasty looking!! Looking for somthing that would attach to the existing housing.

Thanks

Nothing I've seen as of yet will attach to existing housing. And I've been looking since December. Here is all I've found and will be getting it with a new Pioneer Z2 to replace my 500 system.

Hope this helps.
